Adrenaline Rush Extreme Sports and Activities in Las Vegas

When you hear of someone leaving to visit Sin City, you will automatically think of casinos, gambling, and perhaps even poker rooms. Yet did you know that there were many more attractions in Las Vegas that will get your blood pumping and your adrenaline rising sky high? If you are looking for an adrenaline rush – extreme sports and activities in Las Vegas may just be your cup of tea!

For example, if you like the idea of 3 D rides, then Caesar’s Palace will be able to accommodate you with their Cinema Ride. Imagine yourself on a roller coaster ride that threatens to never end! You will experience loops, as well as ups and downs, hair raising action, and a realism that will make your stomach feel queasy. If roller coasters are not to your liking, the films from which you may choose also include a submarine race. Check with the box office for the latest feature.

If you feel like doing the real thing, the Speed – The Ride at the Sahara Hotel and Casino may be just what you were looking for! It is a fast ride, and it is imperative that you follow all the safety
instructions you receive because this ride does not pull any punches. It is not surprising to see the same faces in the line time and again – there is something addictive to this adrenaline rush! Should this ride prove to be too tame for you, why not head up to the Stratosphere to ride the X Scream? You will be pushed out – head first – and away from the top of the Stratosphere and you find yourself dangling helplessly over the edge, until you are being reeled back in. This is an adrenaline rush that is not for the faint of heart!

Of course, if it is sports you desire, then nothing is as extreme as skydiving. Skydive Las Vegas is probably the address of choice for many who are looking for this thrill of a lifetime, and the skydiving school has garnered a reputation for being the place to start in on what might become a lifelong hobby or passion. Imagine your free fall at more than 100 miles per hour while also taking in the unforgettable view of the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead! It is not a cheap thrill, but for a once in a lifetime occasion, every penny is well worth it! Of course, if your budget will not allow for an honest to goodness jump out of an airplane, then why not go skydiving indoors? Flyaway Indoor Skydiving offers the ability to “fly” three minutes at a time inside an air tunnel. Sure, you will not suffer the
temporary stopping of your heart as you leap out of an airplane, but you will have the sensation of flying which will get your adrenaline pumping!

It is important to remember that all of these activities are fun, entertaining, and wonderful for building lasting memories. On the other hand, do not participate in these kinds of extreme sports if your health is not good, or if you have a condition that may be aggravated by the sport. For example, pregnant women should stay away from such sports and activities to assure that there will be no sudden movements that may jeopardize the health of their baby. If you have a heart condition, have suffered a broken back or neck in the past, or even if you suffer from bouts of vertigo or headaches, these adrenaline pumpers may do you more harm than good. In some cases, such as if you are planning on skydiving, you will need to get the skinny on the weight and also height restrictions.
