My latest project on this blog is to start showing photo-logues - featuring stories of fascinating journeys in photos and a bit of the history or story behind them.

I chose to feature the places that Che Guevara visited in his Motorcycle Diaries because 1.) they’re gorgeous, and 2.) despite how controversial he was, and as misunderstood and/or revered he may be to people in all spectrums - from the rich wanna-be hippies who wear t-shirts featuring him those who disagree with his communist beliefs to the South Americans who believed he could deliver them from poverty - he and his journey are still fascinating.

I’d also highly recommend checking out the movie as well, for some great cinematography, and *especially* since it stars the swimmingly great Gael Garcia Bernal portraying Che.
